A really pretty and long necklace made of late Ottoman pendant and other components worked in niello and interspersed with orange bakelite beads from the first half of the twentieth century. The amulet and other pieces test as silver while the chain is not silver. The orange beads test positive for bakelite with simichrome. The amulet opens on one side and you can put in a prayer or incantation to protect the wearer.

All in all a really very pretty piece of jewelry in good vintage condition with some wear to the niello.
